Re: The Hip
Thank you Alastair,
If we got to a restriction free December, drink might well be taken.
I had planned to have the boat lifted out this winter but am now wondering if we couldn't actually get a bit more use of her now the hip is sorted.
Certainly less expensive to stay in.

Coming along nicely
Looks like I've been bitten on the airse by a shark.
I'd post a picture if my technical incompetence would let me.

Re: The Hip
All is plodding on nicely now
Walking without arthritic pain - still a bit tender where they used the stanley knife.
Sad to say the wound site is a little puckered up in places so that's me out of the beautiful arse competition from here on in I think.
The worst part of the whole shooting match - apart from having to sleep on my back - was the Constipation. It took a week but then joy of joys - I gave birth to healthy 25 pounder which brought tears to my eyes and teethmarks to the bathroom door.
6 weeks on now and much mobility is restored - can't sleep on my side yet which I understand is causing insomnia for vast tracts of the PR3 postcode area.
Seeing the Consultant next Friday so hoping I will be discharged or whatever - driving again which is a relief - Dear Heart's driving frightens me

Re: The Hip
Just snorted coffee all over the table in the Cafe Continental.
It sounds you are back to your normal self. My condolences to Dear Heart.

Be careful for what you wish for. I have friends that won't be put off by a little puckering....claymore wrote: ↑Fri Aug 20, 2021 11:20 am All is plodding on nicely now
