To begin with, I thought she was joking .... "rules ,,, anarchy.. precedent ...." Then it gradually dawned on me that it was serious. I think it'll probably come to nothing, and hey, the moderator will become a better and more informed person as a result.

If not, Webbie better get some mair bandwith....

well I think its relevant cos he normally only frequents Mobochat but made the effort to post that particular comment on SB .. so it was'nt a throwaway post .. he went out his way to cause trouble

Well thanks chaps . . .

.
I now fully expect to get my own sig banned, which probably accounts for a not insignificant percentage of traffic to the site.

Never mind. I have PMed Simon saying that of course we would love to have his forecasts on here - in fact I would be more than happy to set up a separate weather forum.

Should there come a day when YBW drops the baton and the unwashed masses turn up at the door then I have a shiny new virtual server with unlimited bandwidth ready to go, with the database backing up as we speak. However, I am afraid that all MoBoers and sympathisers will be barred as - as I said before - this is a sailing website. Always has been and always will be, right up to the day I get a MoBo . . . :rotfl:

Hello again

Hi Chaps, hope you dont mind me coming back onto here - havent done so for quite a while but have been using the yotblog facility.

Must agree its all nonsense with Simon and Louise, but cant believe they will leave it at that, but if they do I am out of it too.

Either way, it has been getting a bit tedious recently.

Nick - can you change me to BigNick on here too?

cheers

Apparently, the BT engineers have cleared the sheep out of the Seil Island exchange in preparation for a surge of bandwidth, so everything's much faster here and you don't get any 404s.

Chill out young man and have another dram or two.

Mind you I do agree with your sentiments (you even got the gender correct!)

I think it's perfectly acceptable to have a comprehensive armoury of rules and regulations, however, coupled with this, one must have the wisdom to know when and how to use them.
I think our pleasant peaceful place may become a wee bit busier now.
Let's hope the berks stay in Berkshire .... (did you notice?)
