Marine Paintings Where Am I
Where am I and what is the water in the name of the waters in the view? I have 3 images in total, each getting harder. As the last time, clues after a few posts. This one should be easy.

Loch Caolisport. Bit early in the morning for looking at paps, but needs must.
Re: Marine Paintings Where Am I
I am afraid it is not Ardrossan, there are no Buckfast bottles scattered around. Nor is it Loch Caolisport.
Hint
Both Ardrossan and Loch Caolisport can be accessed from these waters by boat.

Is the end of the land in the middle of the pic Ardlamont Point? View is from the top of the hill above the maids of Bute?

No even sure its a painting - looks like the lid aff a shortbread tin.
Re: Marine Paintings Where Am I
Philistines! Crap and biscuit tins indeed. The photo is a excrement reproduction and the painting is large and a lot more detailed from the hue of the colours.
I think Burst Boiler is nearer the spot than mm5aho. There are no prizes beyond the dubious pleasure of smugness. The painting is from Bute’s NW corner, elevated above Rubha Dubh, probably not as far back as the painted ladies.
It is Ardlamont Point, The West Kyle, Inchmarnock Water and the Firth of Clyde down the left hand side of Arran.
I’ll upload the next Painting soon, a bit harder, no doubt even less appreciated.

Next one, for some this might be easy. Again where is it taken from and what are the waters and the land masses?

Izzat looking south towards Islay from that wee bay off Danna?
Re: Marine Paintings Where Am I
Nope, a similar aspect but further north. The land immediately on the right gave it away to me.
Re: Marine Paintings Where Am I
Tip: zoom in on picture down the middle of the water.
Hint: many of us will have seen this view and recognise the shape in the distance, middle, small island.
