I am disappointed. I thought you would take this virtual opportunity to enjoy the Whitehouse Restaurant.

I'll need to break into Silvers tonight, break into their mast shed, hot wire the travel hoist and learn to use it and launch my boat. It may be tougher because at least one other has done that, so security may be high. If I get launched by 1am on Sunday, I can be underway straight away, I'll bend on sails etc before sun up. Dont finish the whisk(e)y.

What kind of anchor was Webbie using. It couldn't have been one of Geoff's super holding yins!

Shuggy - that was a great night - my whit a capacity fer ma whishky ye have!

Webster - I was looking at last year's logbook and it always takes me about 6 hours to get from Ardfern to Lochaline but as I said, because we left it a bit later than we should, I missed the tide by Duart so it was that last bit that cost all the extra time.

Anyways - decent sort of a morning. The bacon doorsteps have been done and 2nd pot of coffee finished.

Just off Fiunary now - where did we say we were headed?

Tobers looked very inviting when we were passing - the breeze is right on the nose and Coll just looks to be an hour or two of grunt away so - decisions.
I am tempted to turn back and head up to Salen in Sunart for a few scoops in the pub - surely they can't be locked down?

Conscience demands that we carry on to Acarseid Mor on Gometra because that would mean we could bear away a bit and that we would meet with Marisca tomorrow and save myself a perpetual virtual ear-bashing.

No Pub on Gometra of course so we'd have to be self sufficient which might be tricky bearing in mind the Shuggingtons consumption rate of last evening.
Well - I really don't think we can let Marisca down so Gometra it is tonight.

I wouldn't worry about me. I got as far as Bunnahabhain where they're having a virtual ceilidh with excess output from the big white building. Visitors moorings aren't down yet but with one of Geoff's twin pronged efforts I think I may be staying for a day or two.

That was a big night. I've just woken up and there's no-one here. Chuffing tide is turning now so I'm going to have to motor up the Sound while I scrape the white fur off my tongue. Lucky I have a new autopilot so can simultaneously scrape fur and make limited progress north west.

Through the S.of Iona and about to turn for Colonsay, once we are past the Torran Rocks - I once turned a little soon you know, before the days of chartplotters. Interesting. Anyway we now have the big black and yellow jobbie which makes life much more straightforward.
ETA 17:00 at Bunnyhaven but I haven't checked the virtual tide at the virtual mouth of Islay sound.

Aye, as long as you use fenders on my newly polished top sides. Geoff's anchor should hold us alright - might be a blimey to lift, though. I'm down to half a bottle of Ardbeg and nothing's open till the morn so you're very welcome.

Typical Webby that - sets something up then just does one and we never see or hear from him.
Shuggy was the worse for Drink and being a delicate young flower - he is probably resting up somewhere and poring over the finer details of a manual for his latest bit of kit - think it is the autopilot at the moment.
Ah well - it was good to virtually meet you - I feel Ardminish bay calls with perhaps afternoon tea at the McCormicks - fresh baked scones if you are interested?

I'm heading out to Barra and then north. If I stay at sea for 14 days they might let me ashore in Stornoway.
