Straits of Hormuz - a solution

Post by marisca »

The Mod-plod have a 100% success rate at preventing small boats from molesting HM Nuke Subs. Why not send them out to harass the Iranians instead of us?

The managing agents are apparently based in Clydebank (not Glasgow as BBC London continually reported, despite BBC Scotland being accurate). Anyway, had the crew been flying the Clydebank flag from the port signal halyard I doubt even the Revolutionary Guard would have gone near it.

And Hassan Rouhani went to Glasgow Cali, and speaks english with a Glasgow accent*. So he's a dude in my book. Maybe if the tanker had worn the scottish merchant flag instead of the red duster they would have had unmolested passage.

* Nobody believes this, but its entirely true.

Apparently "they" listen to me! A nuke sub came up the Clyde with only one Modplod boat as guardian. Are the rest off to the middle East?
