Millport

Post by marisca »

Spent Thursday night hiding in Millport Bay while the wind howled. Very comfortable in an easterly helped by the new junks on the buoys - no more guddling with a rope.
RNLI and CG seemed to be pulling a centre cockpit AWB off the Cumbrae shore when I moved again on Friday. The Largs channel was running very red presumably from the Gogo flow.

I was at Loch Creran on Wednesday last, It was running pretty red too. Maye all this rain is what causes spring tides?
