Cannot think of any in that area, so I suppose the nearest would be in the Clyde at Arran or Skelmorlie.
You might have to hand-knit one.

Re: Nearest Measured Mile To Craobh Marina
I used to have one of those, and did the calibration both by measured mile (Arran, yes, its still there), and by GPS.
Best I've found is the canals (Caledonian or Crinan) with their permanent slack water, but have done this at sea also using the GPS.
There's a factor to adjust. I used to have the ST60, now have NASA Clipper, but all work much same way. It's in the manual, and not difficult.

Re: Nearest Measured Mile To Craobh Marina
I did it by GPS, two waypoints a mile and a bit apart.
Head for one and when a mile away start the run, stop it when you get there.
Turn round and repeat with the other waypoint.
Ignore the instruction which says that if you are happy with the result you are done, do two more runs and it may save the result.
That was i50.
I did it in Loch Craignish about neaps, Loch Melfort would work maybe?
Have fun.

Are we sure there isn't one along the east coast of Mull in the vicinity of Duart Pt and Loch Spelve?
