Radio Review

Post by wully »

Not VHF!

The entertainment radio on the boatie is fine for Bluetoothing choonz from the Aye- phone but not at all any use for listening to the radio. I had a quick look on fleabay earlier for a half decent radio that will pick up LW/MW and maybe even FM when closer to civilisation with prices ranging from ‘disnae work’ chancer to way over £100!

Any recommendations for a cheap ‘n cheerful battery powered radio I can listen to the shipping forecast on?

I got one like this from Tesco (not exactly the same) a few years ago. It's simple, it works, it's cheap, VHF, MW and LW. No DAB  :D .
