Sunset on Loch Long

Driving back from Cairnbaan on Saturday and the light on the Arrochar Alps at the top of the pass crossing from Loch Gilp to Loch Fyne was simply stunning, however I could not stop here in the traffic. Later, rounding the head of Loch Long the sun setting over the Cowal Peninsula was stunning, far better than the poor picture below; there was mist swirling over the loch as well.

Stunning foatie!

We've enjoyed some superb weather recently in Argyll.

Guess we get to enjoy some driechness soon enough!

Yes nice how only the clouds reflect the redness.

I saw a nice view the other night with Venus poking below a band of cloud sitting just above the horizon. But no camera.
