Round Mull
Anyone going?
Contender is still in Oban somewhere, so I'm getting the train over Thursday night. Afterward coming back to Rhu, possibly thought the Canal (if I can face up to such a slow transit again!)

Re: Round Mull
I have entered, heading up from the Clyde sometime between now and then, probably via the MoK. After, if I am allowed, it will be a slow cruise, possibly via S'way then back to Oban for WHYW.
See you at the nosh-up on Thursday, Geoff.

Yep. New spinnaker arrives this week so I hope we get a chance to use the thing. You won't be able to miss it - it's this colour.

Re: Round Mull
Light wind spinnaker, and "storm spinnaker".

Re: Round Mull
Storm spinnaker must be an oxymoron
My crew doesn't let me get the "big sail" out if there is enough wind to keep it full.

Re: Round Mull
It's a fact that Claysie hasn't a clue as to the colour of his sails

Re: Round Mull
Yes Ataraxia will be there, hoping storm spinnakers wont be needed. Cant make the thursday buffet because of inconsiderate tides in sound of luing. What's the betting on a driftathon on the sunday?

Re: Round Mull
I missed last year, but well remember the driftathon the year before. This time if Marisca suggests a restart, we should go for it!

Re: Round Mull
Last year may have been a bit of a driftathon on the Sunday but it was absolutely anything but on the Saturday!
