The 1954 Ealing classic about the Clyde puffer and its crew is available on BBC iPlayer until Saturday coming - http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0 ... the-maggie.

There's also an interesting YouTube interview from 2001 with Tommy Kearins who played Dougie, "the wee boy" on "The Maggie" - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gh_gPwgaiVE
This interview throws some light on the film locations.

I'm sure I have seen this before, either from a heads up like this one or it could have been on youtube, have you had aa search for it?

All is not lost:
Download/install a VPN (http://www.thetop10bestvpn.com/best-free-vpn-service) and then you can be "virtually" in the UK and watch iplayer when you are on your travels.
