20 July Cruise rendezvous on Rum. BBQ ashore.
22 July Cruise rendezvous at Loch Harport, Skye. Talisker Distillery Tours and cruise supper
25 July Cruise rendezvous at West Loch Tarbert, Jura. Informal BBQ
27 July Cruise rendezvous at Islay. Ardbeg and Lagavulin Distillery Tours

... and to continue the public service

21st May Craighouse - SIPR
27th-30th May Tarbert - Scottish Series
10th June Loch Maddy - St Kilda race
1st July Tobermory - Round Mull Race
2nd July Bunessan - RMR night 2
30/31st July Croabh - WHYW
1/2nd August Oban - WHYW
3/4th August Tobermory - WHYW

Of course, instead of avoiding these places you could pay your money and join in.

I'm thinking we should add the Chents cruise.
Not sure where or when but the weather is bound to be inclement

But with appropriate clothing everything will be "peace love and understanding".

I'm told that there is no such thing as bad weather, I think this is bollocks.
Seminole.

Why don't we be sneaky this year?

Discuss, argue, eventually agree a date and venue with only moderate blood letting, publish it then suddenly change it to the week after.

Bound to work a treat......

Jings. A plan
Ok - I suggest the last weekend in May
Tides are Neaps
LW Oban is 16:20 ish on 27th so we will have had all afternoon to head South to Sunny climes - OR - we can head north with those endless hours of daylight up to around 22:30 ish and dive into a secluded anchorage, or a Boozer...

Not sure where we will in respect of boat, but the last weekend in May sounds alright. We are planning to be in Carbost the following weekend, 3-5 June for Ceilidh Cruise Mark2 with skipper and crew of Kieta.

.

Let's have two Chents Cruises then - one at the beginning of May and one at the end. One of them will surely come good.

I've started a forum.

I have seen cruising quite reasonably defined as repairing ones boat in strange places . . .
