How much of your 3 L of antifoul did you manage to use up? I wonder if slapping it on thickly with a brush would be a better option when you only have time for 1 coat? It would be hard work though. Iirc, I would need 2.5 coats with a wool type mini roller to use up 3 L.
Is your anode a shaft one? New for the launch at Kip? Hope that I still have a prop!!! Though I expect that Tayvallich Bay is quite a rich 'soup' compared to Kip.
Does the anode on a string only work with your tongue in your cheek?
I wonder how close in Waverley is when rounding M of K? I wouldn't want to hear her paddle beat coming up behind me as I was under the lighthouse!!
Enjoy your cruise.

We got to Tobers Wed and the bloke said the beach east of the fish van was a possibility. Yesterday I beached her an hour and a half after high tide. Did the anode piece of piss and washed the keels with fresh water . Patch painted the bits that hadn't stuck and the bits I had wiped off with my hair and waited to float off.
Went to Loch Drumbuie last night.

I think the locals thought we were some part of the Tobermory Tourist regime. Chiron had her photo taken and the Tobermory Cat peed up against her!
We also had time to take in a distillery tour and purchase some bread from the local bakery.
A good tip here is to keep the inflatable dinghy ready and not anywhere near the bottom of the boat as the tide comes in. You don't want it trapped underneath or getting a scraping of antifoul as it rises!
