Ramorra

Post by wully »

We're away for the furst sail of the year ramorra.

A challenging and adventurous passage to the flesh pots of Jura. Or mibbies points farther south.

I'm hoping all the 'improvements'. I've made over the winter work...

We are following you tomorrow, Saturday, we had to come to Ardfern for water today.

The water on the jetty at Tayvallich is off. The water board have thrown a wobbler about lack of check valves and were threatening to take legal action against the shop. The outside tap on the shop is off too. We got a couple of gallons from the bogs but the boat tank was empty from the winter and needed puricleansing and flushing/filling.

PS, is that Claymore's Claymore Claymore on the hard here? :D
Seminole.
Cheers Bob.

Don't think so but there is a fine example at Ardfern acquired by Ancient Monuments of Scotland.

I'm awfae sunburned after an awfae lot of Argyll sunshine this past wee while, 'cos it's been awfae sunny 'speshly doon the Sound of Jura.

Yesterday was shorts only sailing until 16 hundred hours o'clock when it got a wee bit chilly but the pub was warm. And the wee biting bastards are nae oot yet neither.

We even managed to entertain the folk fishin on their boaties aff Ardnoe point by going round and round in circles while rigging, raising and lowering the cruising chute then having to bleed the fuel system again (CAV filters are utter rubbish BTW) when the wind effed off for an hour or so.

Still not a lot of boaties oan the watter for Easter though.

Surprised how quiet it was myself although I was only moving the 9 miles from winters quarters to summer mooring. Perhaps they were all in Tobermory birling to the bouzouki?

The yacht centre must have heard your coming and have cleared rather a large space around Claymore, are you planning on applying the anti fouling with a shovel or something?

Have you been experimenting with predictive text again?

Would a translation be available at all?

Isn't it getting to the time of year when we discuss whether
Claymore's Claymore "Claymore"
is the optimum orthography?

HenHoovering is the female of ManOeuvring. The Hoover is, of course, phonetic. Foo-foo dust, liberally spread, makes bad things good.
