For those who have fancy Internet thingies on board - like Aye- pads- this is being posted from the Firth of Lorne on EE 3G. Whatever next?

Next thing I'll be getting the cooncil telly in Ardfern....

I could not get a 3G signal at Ailsa Craig last week, thought that pretty poor actually!

A pish state of affairs. On one cruise I had 6 weans all staring at their iDroids round the saloon table and the Dads were not much better either. Such a lonely place this virtual world.

I suppose I could check the tide through Cuan and sail round in less than two hours, but that's hardly convenient for most inhabitants . . .

There is wonderful mobile coverage here in West Yorkshire, it's not Seil though.

One of the benefits of living there (Seil) rather than a disadvantage, in my book anyhow.

Have you seen the FAQ?

Much of it is out of date in varying degrees but the youtube instructions are still OK I think.

I was loosing the will to live trying to embed a YouTube clip... It was only the thought of auld Classie getting maudlin over the movie of his fine shup that kept me trying.

( that and the fact ah got ferkin soaked out on a kayak getting the shot..)
