I'm a bit late with this news but if you're of a certain age you can get return travel by train between any two Scottish stations for £19 if you depart in June and return within 30 days.

It comes and goes without much announcement but as a rough guide, if kids are in school, then Club 55 is open.
Since the return part is valid for 30 days after the end of the offer, it can be worthwhile getting several tickets on the closing day, even if you'll only use one half of the return ticket. Working out exactly what tickets to buy can be challenging for decaying logic cells though.
