Because...

Post by Fingal »

... we were disappointed as usual by the lack of otters at Puilldobhran on Friday evening we were very pleased to spend an hour on Saturday after dinner watching 2 otters disporting themselves around the rocks at the NE corner of Lochaline. A superb weekend with just enough wind for a sort of figure of eight circumnavigation of Lismore almost all without mechanical propulsion. Silkie was spotted returning to Dallens bay on Friday and we played peek-a-boo with Shard either side of Eilenan Glas on Sunday. Apart from a minor problem with the jib furling gear nothing much went wrong with the boat for once, so apart from the rather inferior choice of wines aboard a very fine weekend.

Otters?

Try early morning NE Craobh breakwater arm...

It's a long time since Otter Puddle had anything except yotties in it.

Not so - I saw an otter in there last year. Not to mention the basking shark.
