We have just had a wonderful week in the lakes.
It rained two days but the rest of the time it was dry and sunny with some cracking sailing winds.
The wind was a bit cool especially out of the sun but it warmed up a bit for this last W/E.
Stormy is getting much better at driving, the little boat that sails more like a dingy probably helps there. It crossed my mind that the Centaur may have the compromise a bit too far away from performance when we were sailing on Sunday but I changed my mind when it was wet on Monday and Tuesday.
A chap turned up to Patriot parked at the side of us one day and started the outboard without much trouble. Once it was going it started again 2 or 3 times on the first pull.
I wish we had been following Ian round the MoK and continuing with our normal 2 week cruise but sadly it wasn't to be this year.
Wonderful week off.
