I have never been moored/anchored near to the ro/ro piers when we have been in Lochboisdale or Tarbert , Harris, but I have seen some boats sitting pretty close to the ferry route to the pier in Barra, and have always been impressed by the seamanship on the Calmac boats as they manoeuvre into the pier at castlebay

Call me paranoid but that looks like they are going to try and restrict anchoring in those areas...
The only place on that list I have anchored was in Tarbert, Harris and it was during some very inclement weather. I remember the ferries coming and going but they seemed plenty far enough away from us - farther than some moorings I've been on.
