Many of them. Could that be a county-wide bus pass in your shirt pocket?

Well, it is easily divisible by 30.

It should be, though it hasn't arrived yet - maybe I need to fill in a form. It will be very handy for the bus into Rothesay and Millport this summer.

Cheers

Ah, you need to apply: get in touch with the cooncil, fill in a form and they take your photo then you get your free pass in about a fortnight. I got mine last year. So far I've mostly used it on the airport bus, but I have plans to save petrol by coming up to the boat by bus once all the serious start of season gear shifting is done. The auld bu88ers railcard is handy too: about £60 for 3 years giving you 1/3 off all rail fares UK wide.

This was as close as I got to sailing on my birthday - rigging stretchy 'sail' panels. Don't look too closely at the rigging of the Wayfarer - that wasn't down to me.

Each sail and fake sail has a RGB LED fixture focused on it, but they're not powered up in the photo.

For Scottish Labour Party Conference at Eden Court I was a Lighting Designer, on this one I was a truck driver / window dresser!

I did do some serious rigging too.

I wouldn't like to have to get under that boom in a tack, it's a bit low.

Pale blue sails would look nice.
