Rowing Oars for Sale

Stirling Rowing Club has some rowing oars to sell to make room for new sculling oars. These are on offer to sailors at £50 an oar. If you are in the habit of renting oars from rowing clubs for the 3 Peaks Race and the like this might be of interest. Contact me by PM.

Last year the good ship Marisca was pipped to the class prize in the SIPR by a lot lighter Impala - Lammergeyer. They overtook us 1.6nm from Troon in a flat calm. If we had had oars as well they would probably still have overtaken us, maybe closer to Troon, but we would have been knackered from rowing. I might be interested at a fiver an oar but £100 for muscular misery - no ta!
