Border agency

Post by Clyde_Wanderer »

Apparently they were alongside Millport pier last night.
I feared it might have been because they got a whiff of my poteen, but when I checked today the bottle was well sealed.
Hearing they have been boarding fishing boats on the Clyde checking for illegal imigrants/fishermen, it certainly wont be checking over quotas. :)

On the news tonight that they are assisting thirteen fishermen of Fillipino extraction after raids in Peterhead and Stranraer.

Last year I went to the local Indian Restaurant for a take away and found hoards of police blocking my way in. They advised that I just wait a minute, which I did. The border folks (uniformed not Reivers) came out with the chef who was packed off. The owner followed and advised that they were still open for business and Mum took over the cooking (the owners Mum, not my Mum). That's work ethics for you!
