Ben Ainslie and My Gratitude

Post by claymore »

Residing as I am for a week or two in the land of the long running nose at the abode of the offspring and old Feckless, barely a moment passes that I don't think how bad things could have been if Ben had been beaten by that fekkin Dane.

Hi Douglas
Well, thank you. Sailed from Poole to Yarmouth on my cousin's 24 footer on August Bank Holiday - a Hunter she keeps in Poole. Out on sunday, back monday. My first experience of the South Coast! Have to say I prefer Argyll - or Donegal - but great experience, plus a view of the Needles.
No idea who you are referring to re 'getting on in years'..
