We (the crew) were in the Gardeners Cottage, http://www.staplefordpark.com/rooms-sui ... ttage.html. I was in the MGM room but have to say that their write up sounds better than the reality which was a big old CRT TV which I couldn't get to see the freeview box. The Range Rover room might have suited you - had a big box of trim colour samples.

No pies - kitchen closed at 21.30 and we didn't stop work till 22.00 so it was pizza from the village eaten in our lounge.

Last night was hot panini from the Costa shop at Scotch Corner after ignoring the No HGV signs - slow trek - 3 diversions off the A1M for roadworks.
