Good one Nick I like it.
Starting to get ready now for the season and hope to launch in early April. Good tides in the upper Clyde to enable Old Troll to emerge from underneath his bridge. oldtroll:

Here's a simple way of doing it in Chrome with Adblock ...ParaHandy wrote:if you stopped these shagging bubbles, might be inclined to watch it
- Click on the Adblock icon beside the url/search box and choose "Options"
- Click the "Customise" tab
- Click "Edit" beside "Manually edit your filters"
- Add the following line to the filter box: www.bluemoment.com##IMG[src="http://www.thistledivers.co.uk/bubble.gif"]
- Click Save

Yes, thanks for that but don't have chrome just IE but, if chrome can do it, then must be possible for others to do it. I'll try the ipad as well ...

Thanks Uber, in Firefox I added http://www.thistledivers.co.uk/bubble.gif to the custom filters and improved the quality of my viewing experience enormously!

I think the response to the bubbles is hilarious. Some of you obviously have too much time on your hands.
I'm thinking of an award for the first person to totally feck their computer up by installing some bubblestopping wunderskript

Do you tell your advertisers that the site includes a feature whose sole aim is apparently to make the user experience less pleasant and which therefore encourages the use of ad blocking software?Nick wrote:.

What advertisers? There is no commercial advertising on this forum, and very few of you ever bother purchasing your Amazon goodies through our affiliate link, so it isn't an issue. Annoying you is far more fun Uber.ubergeekian wrote:

Re: The weather in Argyll
Can someone tell me when they've stopped. I'd hate to waste my adblocker's time blocking something that wasn't there. Nick, you really have to change the file (or its name) 'cos I suspect most of us don't see the bubbles now.
Re: The weather in Argyll
My computer is totally f#cked in an attempt to debubble, what do I win? I am using a friend's Atari 64Kb machine to log in now
