Happy Hols and all that...
Any chance you could add a roll-over on the forum lists so we can see a summary of the top post before opening, I find it really handy to remember the subject that appears under some rather cryptic titles.
And, it's 9°C outside at 1942, waay too warm for snow.

There's some interesting suggestions here albeit referring to phpbb 3.0.2:Nick wrote:Do you have any suggestion as to how I might go about this, Julian?Julian wrote:Any chance you could add a roll-over on the forum lists so we can see a summary of the top post before opening, I find it really handy to remember the subject that appears under some rather cryptic titles.

Doesn't support Subsilver2, which is the default style for the board. All these mods are a PITA - they tend to stop working or break the whole shebang when updating to the latest version.Silkie wrote:Nick wrote: There's some interesting suggestions here albeit referring to phpbb 3.0.2:

Thanks for the complement about the boat. Up for sale just now as I am working overseas but if I don't get a decent offer, I'll move her somewhere cheap(!) for a longer term lay up, out of the water.
Any suggestions for a cheap boatyard or even an understanding farmer who has a corner of a field that I could use?

The trouble with farms is that getting the boat to and from the field can be a substantial cost. I keep my Hunter in a nearby barn for £200/year, but she has a trailer.Gardenshed wrote: Any suggestions for a cheap boatyard or even an understanding farmer who has a corner of a field that I could use?
I pay £20/ft all-in for winter storage at Port Bannatyne. That includes lifts and pressure wash, but not mast craneage. The Ardmaleish website says they only charge £15/foot but (a) I like Martin and the people at PB and (b) it's a heck of a lot easier to get to by public transport.
