Hope you have a great one. Is there a mudcake with lots of candles?

Happy birthday from me too
29 today, or was it 21?
A cake was mentioned earlier today. I'm taking her to Ikea later on, special treat.
Actually, I'm taking her for some nosh and to the pictures but Ikea is next door so we will pop in while we are there.
Since she passed her driving test last Friday I have mostly been a passenger, I'll drive tonight, at least on the way home.

Thank you - I am actually marzipanning the mud anchor as I type as well as keeping an eye on the Windermere Lake Warden's Facebook Page.

Why has my cake tin been shaped like a radar reflector?

Yes, Happy Birthday wishes to Lady S from both of us.
Enjoy your birthday tea and a wee glass of Zinfandel, and your trek round Ikea.

I can still taste that cake.

Re: Happy Birthday Lady Stormrider
Thank you for the cake review. You will be upset to know that the sliced bits to level the christmas cake were taken by the young master this morning for coffee break at the garage.
What with inheriting a tin, purchases and what the capt'n had when I was brought here post-capture I have 4.
This was for a chocolate cake for my birthday - one of my sandwich tins is missing presumed turned into a radar reflector.

You might find it lurking underneath the engine, they make great shallow drip trays!lady_stormrider wrote:Thank you for the cake review. You will be upset to know that the sliced bits to level the christmas cake were taken by the young master this morning for coffee break at the garage.

Er - no. The last time I looked it was my shallow Pyrex gratin dish from a well-known Swedish furniture manufacturer as the drip tray!
