Thanks Nick, you have made it a much better picture. I would like to thank my support team, crew , parents etc etc i will stop there as emotion overwhelms me :cry .

On my boat whether the spinnaker is right way around is less important than if it goes up without a twist, fankle or sideways. Foredeck is the "worst job in the world" ,I am just glad I can get people to do it full stop :D

I always fly my spinnaker inside out, so the rest of the fleet can read my sail number!

Surely a confident skipper would insist that his spinnaker be hoisted so that the boats behind him could tell who was disappearing over the horizon? It's a bit defeatist to hoist it so that it can be read from in front ...
