Found 3 moorings off the Village shop / jetty at Whiting Bay on Arran. Yellow - or Yellow /green. No pick ups.
I tried to find out who laid them or takes any fees. Not a lot of joy, though the collective opinion was that they were put down recently by the owner of the RIB which does trips during the "better" months - based in Lamlash.
About 50m off the low water mark. Exposed to everything except WSW to North - so of limited use a lot of the time.
Might try them next year just for the experience....?
