Spotted this bird (Sparrow Hawk) this eve while driving near my house, turned around and parked across from it to get some pics while it shredded its evening meal, a Pigeon.

Great pictures. We sometimes see sparrowhawks in the garden and there's been a pair succesfully breeding across the road from us in Holyrood Park for the last several years. Things aren't all bad.
