'Border Maid' No More

Post by Fingal »

As of next week Border Maid will be off to her new home, under new ownership. I hope anyone who meets her will greet Patrick and his family enthusiastically. I also make this announcement because she will be entitled, in her new club, to a defaced blue ensign and I would not anyone to think I had compromised my principles in such matters.

Cheers

Congratulations! I look forward to hearing about the new "plastic fantastic" when it comes, meanwhile Greek government bonds look like a safe place to store the proceeds of the sale (they are very cheap!).

Not sure about the new nom de plume - "Over the" would be more appropriate. And, no, you are not forgiven for bailing out of a solemn undertaking .......
