It would appear that the RYA is on a drive to recruit youngsters in Scotland. No bad thing in the long run but there are a huge number of cruisers in Scottish waters, so they should also target them but to what benefit to the cruiser?

My perception is that the RYA has always focussed on Racing; in dinghies, offshore or in cruisers. Perhaps they don't want to tread on the CCC & CA territory?

I've been feeling a bit neglected as a mature cruiser - perhaps my budget would be better directed to a membership of CCC rather than RYA (as they are mutually exclusive, financially) Whaddja think?
