My parents get a very nice hand painted Christmas card each year from someone they met cruising up there.
I think they have a couple of watercolours hung up too, it's like being away 12 months of the year in their house.

A bloke called Martin Conway who used to live at Connel. I originally set up yachtart.co.uk with a view to him selling commissions of yachtsand other paintings, but stuff happened and he moved away. Here's a few of his pictures:
