Only loosely connected with sailing, but OTOH most sailors of my acquaintance are partial to a dram.
I recently came across this site: http://ralfy.com/
which has lots of short videos about whiskies and distilleries. The style is idiosyncratic, and the unedited videos are certainly not in Dillon's league, but much of the content is interesting. A sample: http://whiskyreviews.blogspot.com/2011/ ... peter.html
Oh, and the link to his brother's site leads to some useful LED circuit boards (as well as oddities like automatic flame throwers...)
