If you want it to do what it says on the tin, you have to honour your side of the contract...
Glueing some wood recently, I didn't "wipe off the excess with a damp cloth".
The result was a lot of sanding due to the chemicals in the glue turning the area black to quite a depth.
Better to heed the advice of those who know!

Sounds like the polyurofoams - turns my palms black anyway. Well wear rubber gloves then......tip 2.
