I have been advised to lighten up a bit,so...

Post by FullCircle »

I bought some rather bright and shiny G4 LED replacements from a Chinese firm, and have been amazed at the dazzling 19 LED arrays now fitted to my most modern craft.

I believe the extra dose of light has lifted me from my sombre mid-winter torpor

And only £0.99 a pop. Complete bargain.

I commend my action to the house, and hope that the sage advice given has been seen to be taken by me, and that it was indeed most efficacious.

Ah, yes, I had scurried down there and fear the answer may need some decoding.

99p for 19 LEDs? That's too good to be true - I buy that sort of thing to take to bits and use the LEDs for other projects, but haven't seen a bargain to match that!

Cruising, racing, maintenance facilities. Go take a look, you know you want to.

I rather suspect you will find the lights couterproductive in the fat belly area! You may well have misheard the "Jim, you should lose some weight!" as "Lighten up a bit!"?

Hi just found your thread - new to forum - while looking for LED G4 replacements, and the price you indicated certainly caught my attention. however the link did not work any more - obviously, so I just thought I'll ask you for the details of the light: how many LEDs are included, diameter, still working? :), such and such.
cheers

They are here, but now 3.90 euros, but reduced postage for multiple3s.

None blown in my boat this season.

Thanks a lot Jim,
I finally decided to spend a bit more rather than having small lights around. So, here is my final choice: http://www.ledcentre.uk.com/253-led-g4/ ... 8-36v.html
Evidently not the same price category, but will try one first, and they offer two years warranty. Let's hope for the best.
