Hi,
Having experimented with webinars this week, I thought that I would host the first Weekend Weather Forecast webinar tonight at https://my.dimdim.com/weatherschool/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
You will be able to see and hear me provide a briefing for sailing weather this weekend, and then you can ask questions.
The webinar begins at 9pm and places are strictly limited. It is free of charge I'm doing this to assess the viability of this as a method of delivery.
So of you are sailing this weekend, this is your chance to get in on this new technology and see how it can work for you. To join go to https://my.dimdim.com/weatherschool/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
You will need a speaker and microphone.
See you there,
Simon

Sorry I missed your post about this, and therefore the webinar. Sounded very interesting.
I ended up watching the "great debate" with the party leaders, got bored, and ended up watching "Lagos" on (I think) BBC2 - highly recommended. Beautifully filmed. The poverty is shocking, but was impressed how poor people can show so much enterprise, energy, and fortitude in such bad conditions.
