Windlass has gone walkabout ???

Post by puddock »

Hmmmm...
Went up to fit my windlass, which I had refurbished over the winter. Searched everywhere on the boat but no sign of it???
Absolutely positive that I had taken it down last time I was at the boat - backed up by the fact that the manual recovery handle etc was on the boat. Nothing else seemed to be missing or disturbed on the boat but I'll be damned if I could find it - it's a bit of a mystery....

An age thing? How long did you have to search for your specs before you could start searching for the windlass? I lose things all the time

P.S. You havent had Mrs Puddock down there tidying up, have you?

There in may lie the problem. The place is a midden at the moment, so when Mrs P arrives on Thursday and starts tidying up my mess, it may well appear as if by magic.

We're heading down in the morning .. I will let you know.
PS - as you are my nearest neighbour at the moment, I'll be having a good look around Silkie ! (only kidding). By the way, some sod has nicked your rudder !

Oops........
It was under a pile of my junk in the forecabin. (Actually, I think Silkie realised he'd been rumbled and slipped back aboard with it...).
