We didn't launch Isabella last year and she's sitting with empty tanks with launch date approaching. Last fill was in good old red diesel days back in 2008 (at a then eye-watering 95p/litre - good old Dunstaffnage). Although I've followed the taxation changes, the 60/40 split and all that, I've no idea what effect it's had on prices at the pump.
So is red still the fuel of choice or do I need to trek to Tesco with my jerrycans and 5p off vouchers?
Oh and if red it is, who's cheapest in the L. Creran area?. Linnhe Marine I would guess? (I need c. 250 litres.)

Re: Diesel/gasoil
As Claymore suggests, try the agricultural solution. Red diesel (gas oil) is the right stuff, but last autumn some of the marina prices for red (even after the 60/40 calculation) were above supermarket filling station prices for the fully taxed white stuff.
