Tea Towels, a sad reflection

Post by Ocklepoint »

Gentlemen, and perhaps ladies

The references to the fine work of the renowned C John Taylor reminded me of the poor provision of tea towels on my boat.

In an attempt to rectify this sad situation I participated in, and eventually won the 2008 "BlueMoment Burgee Competition."

As you will see in the competion rubric it states "The eventual winner will be awarded a truly lavish prize in the form of a set of 5 of C J Taylor PoArtic T-Towels to grace the galley of their vessel."

Sadly my fine vessel still awaits these fine linens.

I may well be in the Seil area in the week after Easter and available for a suitably formal presentation, or Tob. in early July

This is not a sad reflection - it is an absolute outrage. I am incandescent on your behalf that at your expense, the galley and bunk cushions of fartwinds are stuffed full of tea towels.
This really is not good enough but sadly, why am I not surprised.....?

We will arrange a presentation with suitable pomp and ceremony. (And drink).

A few of the demented budgies are still available for discerning vexillologists.

Said towels will no doubt contain scenes of depravity from the great man's boudoir.

I understand decoupage and applique tastefully applied can render said tea towels passable with care as far as the HMRC Customs Cutter's anti-porn patrols are concerned - why they only seem to ever patrol a small section of the West Scottish coastline is beyond me.
