I seem to remember mention last year of a cruise up the Forth to Stirling.
I did a search of old posts but could not find the link.
Is anyone aware as to whether there might be another cruise this year ?
Thanks

Re: Up to Stirling
Not aware of any plans as yet. Falkirk Dan knows Ronnie and Lisa of the Ratho Princess, so I guess he'll let the forum know if there are any plans.
The old threads on this were here, on BlueMoment, and at YBW's Motor Boat Forum.
There's only 3.5m clearance under the Taylorton Bridge near Stirling, and 9.0m under the Kincardine and Clackmannanshire Bridges, and some very shallow patches, so there are mast, keel and tide considerations. Having said that, it was a very enjoyable day for the spectators and the crews.

Re: Up to Stirling
I have not heard of anything planned for this year as yet but there is pressure to get a pontoon installed at the old harbour in Stirling.
You could contact the lock keeper at the Carron basin and check if he knows of anything. Cannot mind his name.
