I recognised the one on the left at 1:02. He made me laugh too. Funny where they spend the winter though.

Actually, i'm looking for some info on dolphins, if anyone knows.

The podd off Milford, I'vbe seen them three times in the last 6 months. There are about 20 dolphins, young and old, but there are about 10 porpoise with them too.

As a diver of some 20 years, I've seen dolphins, of a number of species, many times, and photographed and video'd them. In my experience though, porpoise are far more nervous, and rarely get near a boat.

The ones I have seen seem to behave more like dolphins. They won't bow ride, but get far closer, much more dolphin like.

so,

1. Anyone else seen such a 'mixed' pod of dolphins and porpoise.
2. Could these porpoise be mimicking the dolphins behaviour, and has anyone else seen similar?

Don't forget - with CC2010 fast approaching the judges are scrutinising your tips carefully to see who might be worthy of this year's glittering prize . . .
