BBC telly's London news has sent its reporters out into the deserted streets to bravely do battle against the elements. One guy's just been on doing some live commentary, dressed up in what looked like a Rab polar down jacket. Apparently some snowflakes were seen earlier. But they've melted. It's almost a struggle for survival.

A snowflake hit my cheek earlier.

Now I'm hiding in the kitchen which 1500 cans of corned beef I panic bought from Tescos. In the unlikely event that I make it to my car in the morning I plan to drive at 2mph like an utter **** and shunt at least three other cars on the way to work.
