OB is not defunct, but currently on Winter opening hours. Domain went tits up due to carelessness by owner so now at seilislandpub.co.uk with a single page site done by moi as a courtesy to the new owners.

Brewery was shipped back to Yorkshire. There's a microbrewery in Oban now though.

Silkie, it's true I'm afraid. Tobermory Terror et al is now made off island, Tommy - my brother-in-law and providor of 'spare' mooring during WHYW etc was the brewer on the island. He's now down to three jobs - distilling whisky, retained firefighter and bouncer on the door at McGochans. He did brew a good pint in his day!
