There's a fair bit of water thereabouts, and FFS don't get the tides wrong, or it can be a bit of a slog to get past.

Don't ask me how I know. I just do

Ahhh!

Is it Fladda or one of those Islands N of Scarba and the N tip of Jura? (Edit: Pladda or Dubh Sgeir)

If it is I tried to fight tide there once!

MrsMarkie: The chart plotters frozen, the little boat hasn't moved for ages.
Mark: In that case that lighthouse is also broken 'cos that aint moving either.

I believe it is Kinnairds Head, with the Fraserburgh Harbour Light in the distance.

Kinnaird Head it is!

Taken last summer on my way from Peterhead to Whitehills-Lossiemouth-Inverness-Cromarty and back home again.

Edit - The tide saga was the previous year when I got it wrong on the way back to Peterhead. Fraserburgh to Peterhead is a LLLLOOOONNNNGGG way against the tide!
