EC Grants for propellor research

Post by claymore »

YM Again
Nigel Calder - who must have more technical cack on his boat than the entire Royal Navy put together - is getting European Funding for propellor/ propulsion research or some other bloody stupid nonsense.
What a bloody waste of bloody money and a cheapskate opportunist way of funding his bloody Najad, the bearded git.

What about something that would be useful like how come marinas are hiking our insurance cover requirements up to £3m - where is the research that justifies that costly fekking piece of nonsense?

Claymore

Is the gout playing up today, or is Dear Heart giving you a hard time ??

You seem just a trifle grumpy over something.

Anyway, what's wrong with grant money for an engineering project that may have potential? Better that than shoving money into some other projects I could think of.

Pete MacKenzie who keeps his Moody at Kip and is a high-heid-yin at Strathclyde Yooni has already been there done that and got the plaudits with his propellor paper (I don't think they are actually made of..... oh never mind). Maybe the freeloading Calder should just give Pete a phone and pick his brains.

At least, that's what he seems to do for the rest of his articles, so why change now? :umbrella:
