Mooring servicing, who does a good job?

Post by aquaplane »

The Tayvallich mooring needs servicing and the "Bay Association" don't think it's any good sending your own diver down to check it out so it's got to be an aproved outfit.

The aproved list includes,
North West Marine,
C Campbell of Craighouse, Jura,
and S McCartan, Ardrishaig.

The bloke who used to do it always left an itemised bill, and the bits he took off and generaly left a good impression. But he has given up.

Since North West took over for the last few visits, they don't say what has been done, don't leave the worn bits, and just ask for cash. They just don't inspire confidence that they are doing a value for money job. They may be value for money, but don't show that they are.

Do we stick with North West Marine or try one of the other two?
Seminole.
Cheers Bob.
