Online in Balamory

Post by sahona »

Didn't realise you get free wireless internet connection in tobermory.
Met LJS here, may see him later further up the coast.
Weather a bit pish, except for last Friday - Crinan to L.Spelve, a day to remember, ab-fab, sunshine and a gentlemans wind between 10 and 24 kn.
Calor gas, 4.5kg, is £14 at the garage and over £19 at the hardware store. Going a walk up the hill to check prices there!
Moidart tomorrow (or the next day if SWMBO doesn't like the weather)
May be gone some time....until next free connection!
http://trooncruisingclub.org/ 20' - 30' Berths available, Clyde.
Cruising, racing, maintenance facilities. Go take a look, you know you want to.

Haven't bought gas yet this year - can't find receipt from last year - £19 is certainly OTT, but £14 might not be too far off.

Looking forward to report and pics of the cruise.

Hope the [whisper] drivetrain [/whisper] is behaving.

Last weekend I bought a 4.5kg calor at Kip Marina Chadlery and it was £13.50.

While as usual complaining about the price David was saying that the Camping Gaz £19 something and works out 3 times more expensive than Calor as there is so much less in the bottle.

I thought Camping Gaz fixed the price so it was the same where ever you went?
Seminole.
