Taking the Vodaphone dongle on my travels,
no reception at all in Lochaline
Good reception in Tobermory but dont need it because free broadband.
No reception in Canna
No reception in Castlebay Barra
No reception in Arcsaig Mor, Eriskay. reception at north of island
A poor reception in Lochboisdale but enough to post this thread.

Kyle of Lochalsh is fine with Orange and surprisingly so is Loch Nevis

Voda phone dongle worked well for most of the inner sound on my way south from Loch Maddy, in essence if you have a good GPRS reception on't phone, you can go online OK. However unless the reception is very good it wont let you Skype.

Now in the Clyde, passed Seminole in't canal, having a brew, unfortunately was passed before saw him.. We did wave

Tarbert has wireless but visitors are too faraway to get a reception.

By the way was very surprised at the extent of the pontoons here in Tarbert, it may be better facilities for us, however it has taken a little away from the character of the place.

Not grumbling though. not in this weather, Been very lucky this year when in outer Hebredes probably had best weather int country.
