Now I'm sure I've seen that photo before but just can't mind where it was. There were other photos showing the rescue of the digger at low tide, the driver still had a beamer :oops:

This happened day before yesterday in Balvicar Bay - the machine was recovered at low water yesterday.

In England we tend to refer to Liquorice as Spanish.
Spanish tends to rhyme better with Balvicarish, don't you think?

Anyways - did the digger start or were the plugs a bit damp?

It will be diesel so no plugs to get damp :lol:

A spokesman for Balfour Beattie said that their digger driver had sought advice from a local resident on the tide times. The resident was heard to mutter "that'll teach the bu66ers to leave the sewage outfall pipe too short"
